Port  Sunlight  Village

Port Sunlight, a beautiful black and white village, was created in 1888 by William Hesketh Lever for his Sunlight soap workers at Lever Brothers (now Unilever).  There are approximately 900 houses plus some 'main' buildings in this village, which is a conservation area, and nearly all the buildings are Grade II listed.  The visible green spaces, including front gardens, are owned by the Village Trust, which manages and co-ordinates all the planting to a very high standard.

Hulme Hall was built around 1900 as the female workers' dining room, seating 1,500 at any one time, and is now Wirral's largest conference, banqueting and wedding centre.

Spacious, with adequate parking and excellent road and rail links, this is an ideal venue for our Festivals.
